Hello again. I am trying to produce the equivalent of https://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/10m-cross-blend-hypso/cross-blended-hypso-with-shaded-relief-water-and-drainages/ without the shaded relief. I suppose I could start with the plain hypso images (regarding which I have separately reported another problem). But I’m not sure where to get the water image?
For instance, to get https://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/10m-cross-blend-hypso/cross-blended-hypso-with-relief-water-drains-and-ocean-bottom/ I could overlay the plain hypso with (rivers vectors and) the bathymetric images from https://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/10m-raster-data/10m-ocean-bottom/ — but I don’t find any plain water image (which is however lighter nearer the shores) to get what I want.
Please indicate whether the images are available from elsewhere or can be produced otherwise using GIMP or such raster image applications.
Further, once I get the hypso + water done, I suppose I could just overlay the rivers vector in a GIS app to get the equivalent of https://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/10m-cross-blend-hypso/cross-blended-hypso-with-shaded-relief-water-and-drainages/ minus shaded relief?
I’m trying to avoid shaded relief because it makes it difficult for me to plot locations in the Himalayas! :-)
